However, even with all of the hard work the Civil Rights Movements have done for African Americans' rights and freedoms, the world is still filled with discrimination and racial injustice all over the world. The most recent crisis that has happened was the death of George Floyd. He was killed by an officer for using what was assumed to be a counterfeit $20 bill. The officer kneeled on Floyd’s neck for more than 5 minutes and Floyd underneath him kept saying “I can’t breathe” until he died. If this situation were to happen to a white man, it would've happened less violently and deadly than this.
